Jim Santelle, host of the weekend show Amicus: A Law Review, joins us for the day. As one of Trump's final Cabinet-level nominees needing Senate approval squeaks past in Kash Patel, we stare down a full hostile takeover of our government. Patel enters the position of FBI Director with a fully articulated list of perceived political enemies for whom he will search for a crime. Not to mention Patel's other baggage that leaves us concerned for his ability to serve We the People faithfully. Meanwhile, the 47th President issued an Executive Order seeking to consolidate power of formerly independent agencies under his partisan flag. They've shown they're hostile. Trump is blatant with his intent to take over each and every crumb of power. How can this be anything other than a hostile takeover? We pray (well Jess does, Dom doesn't do the whole "praying" thing) and wish for remaining federal workers who believe in democracy to hold firm.

Is there a glimmer of hope though? Well, of course at the end of the show we each share something good. Today Jim shares a way to support federal workers who've been fired in these latest moves of wanton cruelty and hostility. With a beer!
