Earlier this week, Dom brought us a story from Milwaukee about a Puerto Rican family allegedly detained by ICE for speaking Spanish in public. Earlier today, ICE themselves have reported the story to be false. We will keep you updated on this and similar stories as they develop.

Our Republican legislators here in Wisconsin are always looking out for us. Not. Three WI lawmakers have proposed a requirement for all public schools to display "In God We Trust" on their walls. Why should all of those who aren't Christian pay for this? How exactly is that going to prevent school shootings? Also, if you dig in to the individuals proposing this legislation, people like Sen. Cory Tomczyk aren't exactly moral paragons. Sen. Tomczyk was caught using homophobic slurs against a teenager and tried to sue a local nonprofit newspaper for publishing the story.
